Pupil Premium

The pupil premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. It is also given to support children who have a parent in the regular armed forces.

Since 2019 there have been fewer than 5 children in receipt of Pupil Premium. In accordance with direction from the Department for Education, due to the low numbers and potential identification of children, we have not published a Pupil Premium strategy. Please speak to head teacher if you require more information about this.

Because of these small numbers, there is no overarching main barrier to pupils' learning. We pride ourselves in knowing each and every child and family and will look to use the premium to support the individual child's needs. We also use a portion of the funding to ensure we are able to employ high quality staff to support all children, including those in receipt of pupil premium. The impact of this use is measured on a case by case basis.
