Welcome to Bury C.E (Aided) Primary School

A Welcome Message from Mrs Ann Bage, Headteacher

We hope that you will find the information contained on this website both helpful and informative. We also hope that it gives you an exciting picture of our school life.

Successful education has always had at its root a good three-way partnership of pupil, teacher and parent. We share your aspirations for your child and aim to work with you in providing a secure, happy and stimulating environment with high expectations in which the children will be encouraged to learn and in which they will be well prepared for the future.

I am proud of the dedicated and enthusiastic staff who teach and support our children and I give a wholehearted commitment that together we shall achieve real success for those placed in our care.

Bury is a co-educational “aided” Church School, educating children between the ages of four and eleven years. We are proud of the high standards of achievement, distinctive Christian ethos and pupils’ personal development throughout the school as reflected in both our OFSTED inspection and Church inspection published in May 2008, both of which rated the school as ‘outstanding’. Our links with the Church are very strong and these are reflected in our caring, loving Christian ethos.
